Varanger, arctic Norway, from May 23rd to May 30th :
The spring was was exceptionally late up there this year. The landscape still winterly white with temperatures between +2 and -5 degrees Celsius. The main issue this time was lekking ruff (brushaner), ... but Varanger in late May is so much more !! The biological diversity of the arctic coast between Vadsø and Hamningberg is simply amazing.
I really love this country !!!
